Our 120v AC Solenoid Valve is constructed of a solid brass body to withstand the higher pressures needed to achieve atomization. In a normally closed status the rigidly built solenoid is activated with 120 volts to open under 120 PSI pressure for short durations yet have enough resistance to close completely while still being under pressure.
Installation Notes:
1. No polarity requirement for power
2. Flow direction indicated on valve body
3. Do not install coil hanging down
Service Tip:
Under long term use and/or infrequent filter cleanings small particulates may get past the filter and lodge in the solenoid orifice. This may cause misting heads to have a weak stream even when the solenoid is closed. To easily clean in most situations, remove the solenoid from the system by the quick-connect John Guest stem adapters, energize the solenoid to open it, and use compressed area to thoroughly blow out the solenoid from both directions, and then replace it.
